A 3 Days Escape That Started With One Simple Question
How scattered travel choices became a guided discovery and planning experience.
01 THE PERSONAL SPARK
Rohan wants to take a short 3-day trip from Kolkata. He knows his time and budget, but isn’t sure where to go. Like most travelers, he jumps between Google search, maps, travel videos and random blogs — but the information is scattered, overwhelming and not tailored to his preferences.
02 VALIDATION OVER ASSUMPTION
Our earlier SoraPath exploration revealed the same core friction. With Roamio, we reframed the solution — instead of AI simply generating a finished itinerary, Roamio helps travelers discover options, choose the places they like, and build and refine their own itinerary with AI assistance.
KEY INSIGHT
Travel planning wasn’t hard because there weren’t enough options. It was hard to turn scattered information into a trip that actually fit the traveler.
This insight shaped Roamio around guided discovery — helping travelers find relevant destinations, choose what they like, and build a plan they can make their own.
